Yay! You have just gotten engaged. So exciting! These are the months where you are not a girlfriend or a wife, but a fiancé. It’s even French so you sound cool saying it. One of the things you are thinking about doing during this once-in-a-lifetime occasion is get pictures taken. A lot of people skip over the engagement photos thinking they don’t need them. We ourselves didn’t get them done. Mostly because I (Molly) was living in a different country until just 3 months before our wedding and we didn’t feel the need to get photos so close to when our wedding date. But now, 6 years later I wish we had taken professional pictures together. Our wedding photos are great, but there is something special about being able to walk around in our normal clothes, hit the spots that we loved to go to and have pictures from those places. And that is what you can expect from us when we photograph you two. We would talk with you to find a location that totally fits you two, have you wear what clothes that you feel totally cute in, and then just hang out for a couple hours taking your picture while we get to know you. We can take your picture right after you get engaged or wait until the weather is just right. It is up to you.
On your wedding day we will be there in the morning while you are getting ready until the party ends that night. We stick to the schedule that you have made and if something happens outside of our control, we will get everyone back on schedule. A wedding has never started late because of us! We will hang out in the background while you get ready, then when it’s time for the first look we will decided with you on the best location at the venue. We will spend 45minutes with just you two. It is such a special, fun time! Then it’s the bridal party’s turn! At the end of the portrait part of the day we photograph your families last, leaving a half an hour before the ceremony to relax and freshen up. After that we get to hang out in the background for the rest of the evening!
